Artist statement:

Artist, gardener, horsewoman, all life long passions of Laura Nuessle. Mostly a self taught artist, she hasn't been constrained by academic influences, instead, finding her own way with many different mediums to express herself. She supported herself as a leathersmith in the early years and moved on to oils, charcoal, pastel pet portraiture, clay animal sculpture and broken pottery and clay tile mosaics. Recently her focus has been clay tile and sculpture and pastel pet portraits.
